Claude writes brilliantly, but on its own it does not render video. With one connector it gets video, image, voice and music engines, and hands a finished file back to the same chat. What you need, how to connect, and how your first video comes out.
If you have ever asked Claude to "make me a video", you probably got an excellent script and no video file. That is not unwillingness: Claude is a language model. It thinks, writes and plans, but it has no engine that renders moving pictures. The good news is that you can connect one. With a single connector Claude gets access to video, image, voice and music engines, and when you ask for a video it runs them for you and hands a finished file back to the same conversation. This guide explains what you need, how to connect in two minutes, and how your first video comes out.
AI video is made by dedicated engines, such as Seedance and Kling, trained on moving pictures. Claude does not include such an engine, but it supports connectors: links to outside tools in a standard called MCP. Once you add a connector, Claude can call its tools in the middle of a conversation, just as it searches the web or reads a file. Cadabra AI is one such connector, and it plugs a whole studio into Claude: video, images, voiceover, songs, talking avatars, and an editor that joins shots into a finished film.
Tell Claude what you want to see, in plain words. It works best to think in one shot: who or what is in the frame, where it happens, what moves, and how the camera travels. Claude turns that into a prompt for the engine, and before anything runs it shows you the full prompt and the price in credits. Only after you say yes is the video made, and within one to three minutes it comes back to the chat and is saved in your gallery on the site too.

Worth knowing: Have a photo of your own? Write "I want to upload a photo" and an upload button appears inside the chat. A video that starts from a real photo keeps the face, the product or the place exactly as they are.
This is where Claude really shines. It can develop an idea with you, break it into shots, and produce them one by one, with you approving each shot before moving on. Then you add a voiceover in the voice you chose, music and captions, and the editor joins everything into one film. If something did not come out the way you wanted, you tell it in words what to change, in the same conversation, without starting over on another site.
Every paid creation first shows its price in credits, and nothing runs without your approval. If a creation fails and no file is made, the credits return to your balance by themselves. There is no monthly subscription: you buy a credit pack on the site, starting with the Basic pack of 105 credits for $21, and it works across every engine. A short video shot starts at a few credits, and the price of a whole film depends on its length and number of shots, and is shown before you begin.
The "Cadabra inside Claude and ChatGPT" page on the site has real examples with a button that opens each one straight in Claude, the credit packs, and the connection steps with a picture of every screen.
