Gemini Omni is the video engine from Google DeepMind, and its version 1.1 has been the stable version since the end of August 2026. What sets it apart is that it does not only make a new video: it also edits an existing clip, and extends it by a few more seconds at a time, up to 40 seconds in total. It went live on Cadabra AI on August 29, 2026.
One of the handy things about Gemini Omni is the draft tier: 360p, to test an idea and a motion before you invest. Once the direction is right, move to 720p, 1080p or 4K. Each clip is 3 to 10 seconds, in an automatic ratio, 16:9 or 9:16, and the sound is made together with the video.
Worth knowing: Edit after edit wears the quality down. From about the fifth edit in a row the picture starts to drift. If you need many changes, it is better to regenerate from the last good point.
Write the prompt in English, or in Hebrew and it will be translated before it reaches the engine. Do not ask for Hebrew lettering inside the video: Hebrew letters come out malformed there, so Hebrew captions and titles are added afterwards, in the edit. The engine takes no audio input, so your own music and voice-over are added at the edit stage.
