Two new image engines in the studio. Midjourney V8.2 with a 24-sketch Draft and native 2K HD, and Ideogram 4.5, which spells the text inside the picture exactly, Hebrew included, and edits only what you asked for.
Two new image engines joined the studio today, and each solves a completely different problem. Midjourney V8.2 is the new version of the engine people choose when they want a beautiful picture, with a look, light and atmosphere. Ideogram 4.5 is the engine for words: posters, logos, invitations and designs where the text inside the picture must come out exactly as you wrote it, plus precise editing of a picture you already have. This guide explains what is new in each, when to pick which, and how to combine both in one piece of work.
V8.2 is the newest Midjourney model, with better aesthetics and image quality than V8.1. Every description in words gives you 4 images. The big change for everyday work is Draft mode: instead of 4 images you get 24 quick sketches for the same price, so you see many different directions for the same idea at once. You pick the sketch closest to what you imagined, and continue from it with Variation or Remix.
Worth knowing: Start in Draft. 24 sketches show you fast whether the idea works, and only after you chose a direction is it worth moving to HD.
Most image engines still struggle with letters: one word comes out bent, a letter goes missing, and a whole sign looks like gibberish. Ideogram 4.5 is built exactly for this. Put the words that must appear in the picture in quotes, and they are written the way you wrote them. It is the right engine for an event poster, a logo, a cover, a banner or a post with a headline.
Ideogram 4.5 writes Hebrew inside the picture. In our first test it wrote a Hebrew title correctly, every letter in place. What is worth knowing: short, large titles come out best. Long lines in small letters can still garble, and then you fix them with one precise edit, without generating the whole picture again.

The real power is in the combination. Start in Midjourney V8.2 in Draft, pick the strongest of the 24 sketches, and continue from it to HD. Upload the result to Ideogram 4.5 as an edit, and write what to add: a headline in quotes, a date, the business name. The edit adds only what you asked for, and the picture itself stays as it is. That way you get Midjourney's aesthetics and Ideogram's exact lettering in the same picture.
In both engines you see the price in credits before anything runs. In Midjourney V8.2 the price is per run, and a Draft of 24 sketches costs the same as 4 regular images. In Ideogram 4.5 the price is per image, the size does not change it, and reference pictures cost nothing. A creation that fails for a technical reason returns to your balance automatically, and there is no monthly subscription: the same credit package works across every engine.
Do I need a Midjourney or Ideogram subscription? No. Both engines work from inside Cadabra AI, on the same balance, with no separate account with them.
Can I write the request in Hebrew? Yes. Write in Hebrew, and the prompt reaches the engine in the language it reads best. Text that must appear in the picture, inside quotes, stays exactly as you wrote it.
Can I ask for this from ChatGPT or Claude too? Yes. Both engines are available through the Cadabra AI connection to the chat as well, at the same prices.
In the Cadabra AI image studio each of them has a tile of its own: Midjourney V8.2 and Ideogram 4.5. A new account opens with welcome credits, so you can start with a 24-sketch Draft or a poster with a headline on your very first visit.
