One photo of the product is enough for a video ad: a hero shot of the product, a clip that looks like a real phone review, and the same ad in every size. What you need, what to write, and how the product stays exactly itself.
Until recently a product video ad meant a production: a photographer, lighting, a studio, sometimes an actor. For a small business that usually meant giving up, or posting the same still photo again. Today one good photo of the product is enough to get a video ad that looks professional, and several versions of it to test. This guide explains which kinds of ads you can get from one photo, what to write, and how to make sure the product in the video really is your product.
A hero shot: the one premium picture of the product alone, in studio light, with clean space for a headline, and five seconds of it in motion if you want. This is the ad for the product page, a banner and a Story.
A UGC-style review: a real-looking person holds the product and talks to camera, as if they filmed themselves on a phone. 15 to 30 seconds: an opening that stops the scroll, one claim, proof, and the product in hand at the end. This style works on social feeds because it does not look like an ad.
The same ad in every size: once you have an ad that works, you get it vertical for Reels and TikTok, square for the feed and wide for YouTube, with each size recomposed rather than just cropped.
The big danger in an AI ad is a "similar" product: a logo that moved, a colour that changed, a print that turned into a different design. So every ad starts from your real photo, and the prompt to the engine says explicitly to keep the same colourway, logo placement, silhouette and materials, and not to invent a sibling model. Check the result against the original photo before you publish.
From the photo I uploaded: a 15 second vertical video in a phone-review style. A woman holds the bottle and says it keeps water cold all day. An opening that stops the scroll, and the bottle in hand at the end. Show me the plan and the price first
Worth knowing: Ask for three different openings for the same ad. In most cases the opening decides whether people stay, and three versions with the same body are the cheap way to find out which one works.
Planning and writing cost nothing. Every paid step, the picture, the shots, the voice, is priced before it runs, and nothing starts without your approval. If a creation fails and no file is made, the credits come back by themselves. There is no monthly subscription: you buy a credit pack, starting at $21, and the connector page on the site says what each pack is enough for.
The "Cadabra inside Claude and ChatGPT" page on the site has real examples of these ads, a UGC review and a product hero shot, with a button that opens each one in the chat, plus the packs.
