How it works

Use it when you have a song and want to see a particular person sing it: you from a photo, or a character you built. Not a video of a mouth opening and closing, but shots where the lips sit on the words of the line, then a whole clip cut on the song.

How it works: the song is split into its lines with the chorus marked, and together you decide which lines get a singing shot. The chorus lines always get one, and the rest of the clip is filled with shots that carry the song. Every singing shot is built from its own line and its own slice of the song, and the same character sings in every shot. At the end each shot is laid on the clock of the song itself.

A tip: start with one line as a test, to see the lips sit on the words before paying for the whole song. Pick one place and one mood for the singing shots, and ask to see the picture of the character before it is used.
