Use it when you have good footage that is missing one thing: magic, different weather, a different sky, an object to add or to remove. Instead of effects software and hours of work, you describe in words what changes, and everything else stays exactly as it was.
How it works: attach the file and say which effect, and what must stay untouched: the face, the product or the background. On an existing clip the effects are a list of named changes: change what they wear, the place around them, the weather, the hour and the light, the sky, put one thing in place of another, put something into the shot, change the colour or material of a thing, take something out, clear the background, restyle the whole picture or change the season. Each carries a fixed instruction that holds everything else still, so the same ask gives the same kind of answer.
The clip that comes out keeps the length and shape of the source. A tip: be specific, for example "a black wool coat" rather than "different clothes", or "the car on the left" rather than "a car". To replace the whole person with another character, this effect is not the right tool: a fresh shot with that character is.
By the length of the source clip, measured from the file itself, so a longer clip costs more. The price is shown before anything runs.
Not through this effect. It changes what is inside the clip but does not swap an identity. For that, a fresh shot with your character is the better route.
